Project Family Diamonds (Part 1)

H presented us with a challenge on her piece in Project Family Diamonds. While most clients ask for a centre stone on their bespoke heirloom projects, H wanted to do away with that.

To give both diamonds equal attention, we suggested an open-ended design, with asymmetrical accent details surrounding each diamond. To accommodate this structure, they were set facing outwards at either end of the ring, each set at a different angle.

Hand carved vines coil around the entire ring, the base gilded in a muted shade of yellow gold with the carved details in white rhodium; the vines have an even more structural effect with this highlight.

The next installment of this family project is certainly as elaborate as this one, and we'll be revealing it soon ;)
